Decoded transactions
Decoded transactions are transactions parsed to the instruction, with their slot metadata, pushed to your server over UDP: no parser of your own to maintain, and no stream to open.
Getting them#
- Run a UDP receiver on a server with a public address. The tx-receiver SDK is one in Rust; the wire format is the same as the shred stream's.
- In the dashboard, open Decoded Transactions and set the receiver's public IP address and port. A change takes effect on new streams.
- Start the one-hour trial on the same page, or subscribe from Pricing when the service is listed there.
Allow inbound UDP to that port on the server's firewall. Datagrams carry one payload each, up to the Solana MTU of 1,232 bytes, and UDP gives no delivery guarantee: size the socket buffer for bursts (OS tuning).
