Subscriptions#

A subscription is one service in one region, paid up front for a period: 30 days on every plan today. Hold as many as you need, in different services or regions. Each starts as soon as it is paid, and its servers accept your API keys from then until it ends.

Paying#

Card, through Stripe Checkout. Card subscriptions renew each period; manage the card or cancel at the period's end in Stripe's customer portal, which the Billing page opens.
USDC on Solana, from any wallet. The Billing page builds the transfer for one or more periods up front, your wallet signs it, and the subscription starts once the transaction confirms.

Bandwidth credits#

Shared gRPC and Shared gRPC Pro include an allowance of bandwidth each period, ten gigabytes for every dollar of the plan's price, which resets when the subscription renews. Past it, top up with credits at $0.10 a gigabyte, by card or in USDC. Credits you buy never expire and are spent only after a subscription's own allowance. The Billing page shows the balance, and Metrics shows the bandwidth you use.

Running out pauses, it does not cancel. When a subscription's allowance and your credits are both used up, streaming on it pauses: your keys stop working on its servers, and the dashboard tells you. The subscription itself carries on, and buying credits resumes streaming within a minute.

Trials#

Shared gRPC, Shreds and decoded transactions each have a one-hour trial, once per account, started from that service's page in the dashboard.
